Train each finger to move on its own, in time.
Four pads, one per finger. Notes fall onto them to a metronome: hit each pad the moment its note lands, and see how close to the click you were.
It works right here: no account, nothing to install.
Four pads, one per finger. Notes fall down each pad's column to a metronome: hit the pad the moment its note lands on it, right on the click. Phone flat on the table and your fingers on the pads, or the keyboard on a computer.
No clean run yet with this order and length. A run is clean at 90% on time or better.
Start slow. When a run comes out clean, go up five.
Keys: A S D F, pinky to index. Space starts and stops.

What it does
Measured in milliseconds
Every hit is green or red, with how early or late it was. At the end, your average: ahead of the click, behind it, or right on it.
Orders that untangle the fingers
Random, 1234, 4321, 1324, 2413 or 1423, over 16, 32 or 64 notes.
Either hand
Phone flat on the table with your fingers on the pads, or the keyboard on a computer: A S D F for the left hand, J K L ; for the right.
A record worth chasing
Your fastest clean run, with 90% of the notes on time or better, kept for each order and length.

Questions
What is finger independence?
Being able to move one finger without the others moving with it. On the guitar it is what lets the ring finger and the pinky land cleanly and on time.
Does it replace practicing on the guitar?
No. It trains timing and control away from the neck. Take the same orders to the guitar afterwards, one finger per fret, with the metronome.
Can I use wireless headphones?
Better not. Bluetooth delays the click, so your hits will read as late. Use the speaker or wired headphones.
