About William

I've played electric guitar for 10 years, mostly modern metal and punk. I release my own songs as WILLDAFER. Before that I spent a while studying classical guitar, which is where I learned to read music and to take care of technique in both hands. I still take a lesson every week, so I know what it's like on the other side.

I teach adults online who want to get serious about metal and rock, from complete beginners to players who get by but are stuck on solos, speed or improvising. In English or Spanish, whichever you prefer.

In the first lesson you tell me what you want to play and play me something, even if it's not much. We figure out what's holding you back, and you leave with a plan for the next few weeks and your first homework, which shows up in Diesis with the metronome already set. Between lessons I see what you practice, so the next lesson picks up where you left off.
