What Diesis is
diesis.app is a website and an app for learning and teaching guitar: practice tools open to anyone and, with an account, a platform where teachers manage their students, publish a page, give lessons on a video call and get paid for them. Diesis does not give lessons: each teacher offers their own, under their own name and responsibility. The terms of use say how it all works.
Who runs it with me
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States). Accounts and their data are kept by Supabase, in Frankfurt (European Union). Emails are sent through Resend. Payments between students and teachers are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland), into each teacher's own Stripe account. Visits are counted by Google Analytics and PostHog only if you allow it in the banner. The privacy policy says what each one receives.
What is mine, and what is yours
The code, texts, drawings, pictures and brand of Diesis belong to William Davis. The fonts, libraries and sound samples it uses keep their own licenses. What you upload or write stays yours; the terms of use say what Diesis may do with it.
Liability
Diesis is in preview and offered as it is, as the terms of use explain. Links to YouTube, Amazon and other sites lead to services with their own owners and rules; Diesis answers for none of them.
Law
Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts where you live.
