Questions

Questions about the price

When does Diesis take its commission?

Automatically, when the student pays. The rest goes to your Stripe account.

Who pays Stripe’s fee?

Stripe’s fee is included in the 10% rate, or the founders’ 5%, up to that amount. If processing costs more than the commission, Diesis takes nothing and the teacher pays the processing fee. This can happen on small payments.

What if I refund a payment?

Refund it in Stripe. Diesis returns its share; Stripe keeps its fee.

Does Diesis invoice my students?

No. Invoicing is yours; every payment is in your Stripe Dashboard.

Can the price change?

Yes, with fifteen days’ notice by email.

Do students pay to find a teacher?

No.

Can a student pay me in cash?

Yes. Mark it paid outside Diesis. No commission.
